“It’s very hard to predict who is going to be a top manager. He has to win trophies, he’ll obviously be given more time than the previous manager because of his status at the club.

Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic is confident of his side chances to qualify for the quarter-finals of Champions league, after securing 2-0 win in first leg.

“Against an Italian team it is always difficult because they defend well. The pace was frenetic it was difficult to get space but the second goal was all important. That said, there is still 90 minutes to play and anything can happen. We will have to concentrate fully in the second leg.”
